Someone Great (Review)

Someone Great, a Netflix film that was released last month in April is starting to become widely talked about all through social media.

"Relatable", "Powerful", "Emotional" and "Close to home" are all the words and phrases that can be used to describe this outstanding film. This film starring Regina Rodriguez as Jenny, a music journalist preparing to move to California, shows the true emotions of a women during a post breakup.

Unlike the movie Acrimony, this film is a perfect example of the positive handlings a women shows in her emotions prior to breaking up out of a long term relationship. This relationship wasn't as toxic as the one in Acrimony; In fact, it was a beautiful relationship that showed both sides understanding each other and truly connecting with one another.

What makes this movie so relatable and powerful to women? The random flashbacks that show viewers how beautiful the relationship was, how it lead to the couple breaking up, and why the main character reacts the way she acts when she's in certain places or hears certain songs. These kind of scenes in the film connect with women on an emotional level, and it causes some of them to even cry with Jenny during the film. Most women have stood in the same shoes as Jenny, so it's no doubt that they reflect back to those old emotions they felt during their breakup.

The best lesson that could be gained out of watching this movie, is the meaning of friendship that is shown in this film. It's really good to have supportive friends that are willing to be there for you in your situation and can be depended on during times like a breakup. This film just beautifully shows the power of friends during your time of needs.

If anybody is going through a breakup just like Jenny, I would definitely recommend for them to watch this film. You may cry or you may laugh while watching this movie, but you will understand that you'll be alright in the end and better days will come. All in all, I rate this movie a 10/10 because it truly touched me and showed me that I'm not the only women who feels like Jenny during a breakup. I believe that a lot of women probably felt this same way too, and that's just based off the tweets that I've seen on Twitter.

Its Get Involved Season

Happy November Ladies and Gentlemen, With the year of 2018 coming to end, let’s take a time to look back and reflect on everything we learned from, struggled with, or conquered through this year. Indeed, this year we experienced a lot of movements created from the social aspects of our society that branched out from numerous of topics. There were quite a handful of movements that were relatable and some that were an eye opener. Today were going to focus only on two; however, I’ll still list others that may interest you as well. The #MeTooMovement is a female empowering movement that aims to scream out to the entire world “DON’T COUNT ME OUT”. Women matter! It has been quite the fight to get the American Nation to still see women’s work equaled to man’s work. Women still get more rules and regulations in a work force, less pay, and no emotional support in anything they work for. With the #MeTooMovement, Women are able to be united and voice their concerns that they have and c

Everyone's guilty for doing this, so never feel bad or disappointed in yourself about how you manage your finances. First Banks gives a 5-Tip Money Saving article to help, not only young adults, but college students and young business owners. (There is also some tricks on how you can gain money while your in  school, too). Tip 1 - You want to make a budget for yourself. As a college student, budget out how much your willing to spend and save for the week. Also think about what your money is going to go towards. If something doesn't meet your budget, and you MUST have it/go to it, then you need to plan out how your going to earn your money back. This same thing can go
