The Scandal Collection

A new and upcoming business located in the DMV is becoming one of the best collections to touch the beauty industry! It's The Scandal Collection created by Indira Obichere and Andrea Green just last year in November. The collection aims to represent what both of the owners are passionate about, which is beautiful hair and flawless lashes.

The vision for the company is to have women feel like they're looking spontaneous with good quality hair and full 3D Mink Lashes.

"A good Scandal requires looking your best, so start at the top with your hair, and complete your look with our lashes"

The 42 Production team was able to sponsor an interview with one of the owners, Indira Obichere, to gain more insight on the Scandal Collection and see what plans she has for the future.

42: What motivated you to start the Scandal Collection? Was it always in your plans after college or was it just an idea you were willing to try?

I: I started The Scandal Collection because I love hair and lashes. I’ve spent so much money on it over the years why not sell it? And I wanted to help make people feel beautiful. I also wanted to own something. Investing and flipping my money is something I was interested in during my last year in college.

42: How would you describe the quality of your products compared to other products in the beauty industry?

I: I researched for months prior to launching my company. I tested out hair from multiple vendors to find the best hair. I’d describe my products as unique, I offer a variety of different lash styles from calm to dramatic. Our hair is raw and unprocessed which means longer-lasting and fuller hair!

42: What can customers look forward to when purchasing from your collection?

IWhen purchasing from The Scandal Collection customers can always expect great customer service, great hair and lashes, and great prices and deals.

42: Are there any new products that you plan to add to the Scandal collection soon?

IOf course there will be new products added to the company, but over time. Right now, we’re testing all new products out until we find products that meet our expectations.

42: If you could thank anyone for supporting or even helping you through this process of building your business, who would it be?

II want to thank my god sister who is actually my COO. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to our company, but for good reason. But it’s always great to have help.

Its Get Involved Season

Happy November Ladies and Gentlemen, With the year of 2018 coming to end, let’s take a time to look back and reflect on everything we learned from, struggled with, or conquered through this year. Indeed, this year we experienced a lot of movements created from the social aspects of our society that branched out from numerous of topics. There were quite a handful of movements that were relatable and some that were an eye opener. Today were going to focus only on two; however, I’ll still list others that may interest you as well. The #MeTooMovement is a female empowering movement that aims to scream out to the entire world “DON’T COUNT ME OUT”. Women matter! It has been quite the fight to get the American Nation to still see women’s work equaled to man’s work. Women still get more rules and regulations in a work force, less pay, and no emotional support in anything they work for. With the #MeTooMovement, Women are able to be united and voice their concerns that they have and c

Money We all love it, we all need it, and we all want more and more of it everyday! The biggest problem that happens with our money when we get it, is that we usually spend it (sometimes all of it). Then we have to work to make up what we lost when we could've added to the numbers we already had. Everyone's guilty for doing this, so never feel bad or disappointed in yourself about how you manage your finances. First Banks gives a 5-Tip Money Saving article to help, not only young adults, but college students and young business owners. (There is also some tricks on how you can gain money while your in  school, too). Tip 1 - You want to make a budget for yourself. As a college student, budget out how much your willing to spend and save for the week. Also think about what your money is going to go towards. If something doesn't meet your budget, and you MUST have it/go to it, then you need to plan out how your going to earn your money back. This same thing can go
